It doesn't mean we always agree with these guides of course, but we hope you find the fuller information helpful. You'll see these abbreviations in the 'Other guides' line just above the photo slideshow at each hotel's entry page. Often we add a bit more (especially about awards) in the review text.

Green Tourism Business Scheme - eco rating scheme at bronze, silver and gold levels of award

Good Hotel Guide - occasionally awards will be mentioned in the text

Good Food Guide - sometimes the score in the latest edition / occasionally awards will be mentioned in the text
