Catch up with latest news as guide's official launch day approaches
Wednesday, March 10, 2010, Edinburgh
F E B R U A R Y February already! Here, we're busy working both on the 7th annual Scottish Hotel Awards and on the completion of the final changes to the hotel guide. The 'beta' phase is a critical part of getting the guide right and well set-up for a long, valid, up-to-the-moment job. Before the launch in spring we are building-in expert advice in both blogging and social media so that Scotland's new hotel guide gets to as many readers as possible in the most popular way. The web is changing fast and this big new project has to be right for the times. We're also now busy adding preparing new entries which will incorporate our ratings scheme, big photographs, well-written and bang-up-to-date comment prepared by hotel writers who know each property thoroughly. The Scottish Hotel Guide will be at full strength for the 2010 season. Full Membership info for hoteliers in Scotland is now available. We're the same team who judge The Scottish Hotel Awards and the research for the 2010 awards has been underway since spring this year. The awards site that link goes to has been run by us since 2003 and has received tens of thousands of votes. Thank you very much. Gary Editor Meet the team
