"We loved this area so much we had a holiday cottage here. Then, after searching high and low, Loch Melfort Hotel quietly came on the market. It has been our joy to restore the hotel and add new facilities, making the most of this incredible setting. We hope that you will come and enjoy the atmosphere and attractions of this special place!"

Top rooms in main house; some newly-refurbished Cedar ones are v. good. Arduaine Restaurant has panoramic vista of Asknish Bay; Chef Colin MacDonald and crew serve excellent modern Scottish food. For casual dining, real beers new Chartroom II Bistro is ideal; enjoy food, drink al fresco on warm days. Small Country Hotel of the Year 2010.
